The award-winning Lloyd’s building stands on the corner of Lime Street in London’s square mile.

Home of the Lloyd’s insurance institution and the world’s leading insurance market, this Grade 1 listed building was designed by acclaimed architect Lord Richard Rogers on the site of the original 1928 Lloyd’s Building.

The “inside-out” design is unique in having all services (lifts, staircases, electrical power conduits and water pipes) on the outside of the building, giving it a distinctive look that has stood as an emblem of the City of London since it was officially opened by the Queen in 1986.
